The candidate shall act both independently and in a team, under the coordination of a Senior Associate and the supervision of a Reference Partner. The issues of interest will be those relating to domestic and international taxation, both direct and indirect, with particular attention to transfer pricing, VAT, customs and excise duties and international trade rules.
The activity will consist in the preparation of opinions, memoranda and appeals, assistance during tax audits and pre-litigation, and the drafting of deeds and pleadings in tax disputes.
The formulation of analyses and assessments in the areas of international tax and customs planning, transfer pricing, transfer of residence, interpretation of conventions against double taxation and corporate reorganization and M&A operations will be required.
Lastly, the provision of advice and assistance with regard to tax risk management, the implementation of the Tax Control Framework and the achievement of the Customs AEO certificate is no less significant.
